Pick-a-boo was born one lively Friday night in a packed pub, when two strangers struck up a conversation thanks to a shared playlist tune. We realized that great connections often happen in real life—not just on screens—yet there was no easy, fun way to spark those serendipitous encounters. So we built Pick-a-boo: a privacy-first app that brings the magic of spontaneous discovery and meet-ups into any venue.

Karan has spent his career at the intersection of consumer tech and real-world experiences — from product roles at Amazon and leading e-commerce teams to penning a published book on modern social trends. A self-described pub-hopper, traveller, and people-connector, he blends creativity with data-driven insight to build products that spark genuine human interactions. Holds an MBA from XIMB Bhubaneswar and a B.Tech in Computer Science.

Co-Founder & CTO
Yash leads the engineering and technical strategy at a new kind of real-world social platform. An NIT Trichy grad with deep expertise in Bluetooth, mobile systems, and spatial computing, he's focused on transforming how humans connect in shared space. From core infrastructure to fluid UX, Yash is driving the technology that powers meaningful, in-the-moment discovery, starting in high-intent venues and expanding to the broader connected world.
